Howth
This little seaside village is an ideal location to forget your worries and step back in time. Locals and tourist alike enjoy walking along the well-trodden path that follows the cliffs of the Irish Sea. On the walk, you'll see the lighthouse at the trailhead and end with a view Ireland's Eye, a small historic island. After enjoying the cliff views, students will enjoy the unique shops on the shore and enjoy dinner in one of the many pubs serving fresh seafood while over-looking the harbor.
Glendalough
Located in Wicklow Way, this hiking excursion is not only a beautiful landscape but it is also very historical. Glendalough, meaning glen of two lakes, was a medieval monastic village. Today it is a popular hiking location and a great day trip escape for Dubliners. Depending on the season you may find fields of flowers or snowcapped hills.
Boyne Valley
This excursion is full of history dating back to 4000BC. You will visit Newgrange and Knowth. Newgrange is a must-see on any Irish holiday trip. This ancient passage tomb was recently uncovered in 1966 and dates back 5000 years. In Knowth, you will discover the history and civilization of the area from 4000BC, the Stone Age, the Iron Age, to today.
Cork

Despite the hardships that fell upon Cork, it is now a vibrant, culturally rich and charming city. Known for contributions to the fine arts, Cork offers you a multitude of theaters and music venues.
