Founded in 1985, the university has two campuses. Study abroad students study at the more central campus, which is located in Dehesa de la Villa, a university neighborhood known for the preservation of its great park. It is well connected to downtown and other parts of city, with public buses and a metro station. The university services around 2,800 students per year, 500 of which are international students.
Intensive Spanish courses are offered throughout the year, in both summer and semester programs. Students also have the option to take electives in Spanish and English from various concentrations. Generally those students in lower to intermediate language levels will take Spanish courses in addition to English electives. Those students who place into advanced levels may be able to enroll in the Spanish electives with other international students or regular courses with Spanish students. Less
