Program size and planning.
The program size was great but the order in which our trips were taken I think could have been schedued better. I had too much to work on the week before finals which made the trip to Madrid a lot less fun and exciting.

I had an amazing time with ASA. If I could go back for another semester, I would not only go to Sevilla, but I'd go back with ASA. Isidoro, our site director was great, our trips were fun...It honestly couldn't have been any better!

I went this past summer for the first session of the Summer Abroad in Barcelona, Spain with ASA. I was extremely please with my placement with a host family. And I understood how important it is to have a cell phone while studying abroad it was definitely a great perk that I wasn't exactly looking for. Barcelona is a beautiful city. I encourage anyone who is wanting to study abroad to go with ASA, compared to the other programs I have been with it definitely was the best!

Study Abroad was such an amazing experience. Not only did I learn a new language and soak up a new culture, I found things inside myself that I never knew existed. I absolutely loved studying abroad and I hope to study abroad again before I graduate. Its a one of a kind experience. You really can't fully describe its intensity and impact you have to experience it!

4 Great Study Abroad Programs in Spain! Small but Great!!
Reviewed by Sara Veliz on .
This program was a smaller one in Barcelona, which had its pros and cons. I loved the personal attention and the idea that I could get to know everyone in my program. And we attended classes with other programs, which was perfect. However, there were not several outside resources that other programs had, which might have been helpful.

4 Great Study Abroad Programs in Spain! A little deceiving
Reviewed by Kyla Fitzpatrick on .
I enjoyed my study abroad experience and the people working in ASA were fabulous. The only thing I did not like was that I thought the University was going to be at the main campus with other spanish speaking students so I was a little disappointed when i found out that all of the study abroad students were kept away from the native catalans. I thought it was a little bit of false advertising when they said we were going to UAB and we were actually at a small branch campus. Other than that i enjoyed the experience very much.

4 Great Study Abroad Programs in Spain! Exciting and positive learning experience

Academic Studies Abroad was thorough in providing me the information I needed in preparation for studying abroad. While in Spain my site director was always available to us when we needed anything and really fun to be around. The small program size really gave the personal us the opportunity to get to know everyone well and still have the ability to meet other students by attending school with many other larger study abroad programs.

4 Great Study Abroad Programs in Spain! ASA's Barcelona Study Abroad Program
Reviewed by Anh Vu on .
When researching for study abroad programs in Spain, ASA was at the top of my list because it came personally recommended to me by a friend and former ASA student. ASA was a very well organized study abroad program and it made it very easy for both students and parents to prepare for a semester abroad. The site director was very helpful at all times throughout the semester, and the excursions, housing, and prep were all exceptional! ASA placed me in a very nice apartment with 5 other students. The site director was very informative and helpful regarding questions and concerns. Communication between ASA staff was helpful when preparing for the study abroad trip and the site made it easy for both students and parents to prepare all the paperwork needed. The weekend excursions were packed with things to do and sites to see. Thanks ASA!
