Russell Edwards is a first-year graduate student at the University of California, San Diego in International Relations, focused on Latin America and Environmental Policy. He was teaching English in Valpairaso, Chile in the summer of 2010, when he snapped this photograph on a trip to Columbia.

Rudy Maxa is the host of PBS‘s RudyMaxa’s World, a former Washington Post reporter and the former host of NPR‘s The Savvy Traveler. Allan Comport is a professor of art at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
