My time in London was the best experience of my life. The way in which CAPA handled the students and allowed us to become emerged in the city and the lifestyle helped us really feel at home. MyEducation events allowed for us to become immersed at our own pace while meeting students from other schools simultaneously. If I could do it again I would! Read more
The program was great! I had a ton of fun doing all the events CAPA provides. You are provided with a travel card within zones 1-3, so transportation is no problem. The CAPA staff is a great resource for things to do and where to go, and are always willing to just talk to you as well. Classes were generally fun and substituted with field studies out in the city, which got us out and exploring even more. CAPA is an amazing program and has a lot to... Read more

The accomidations that I stayed in where great. It instantly felt like home. I stayed in a flat/condo building filled with other CAPA students. It was a gre... Read more

I studied abroad with CAPA International Education during the Fall 2012 semester and could not be happier with my decision. I chose the program mostly due to the internship component and was very happy with my placement; the program has a whole staff for internships alone and students are placed with companies based on their interests and future goals. Most people I talked to were relatively happy with their placement. I loved going abroad with o... Read more
The Internship was an amazing experience. CAPA has great connections in their cities. I loved all my experiences and opportunities that were available through CAPA and my internship.

I thought that being abroad in London was a great experience. It definitely enabled me to adjust to new situations faster than I had ever expected. Navigating any new place, and especially a big city is challenging, but after studying abroad in London, I believe I can be dropped off anywhere and successfully adjust to life there. Read more
When I first arrived in London, I already had the odds against me. I was with people that were not from my school because I had done the program through another institution (SUNY Oswego--I am from SUNY Binghamton). I knew it was going to be a challenge to reach out amongst my new peers; not only that but to adjust to an entirely new city. The first weeks were tough and I even had to switch into a home stay due to difficulties in my apartment, but... Read more
Dramatic is the personal growth that comes along with undertaking the challenge of living and working in a big, unfamiliar city. Certainly I have a greater consciousness of what it means to be American and how our culture is unique but not exceptional. British attitudes in general seem to be more relaxed, especially in the workplace - there's so much more stress and extroversion of opinion here. With a new sense of global citizenship, I've taken ... Read more
If you enjoy constant supervision and copious amounts of busy work, then CAPA is the program for you. But if you rather enjoy your time abroad, with classes that actually further your education and time to immerse yourself in British culture, do not sign up for this program. The classes I took were not stimulating or challenging enough, and I felt like I was wasting my time in classes filled with other American students. They offer an internship ... Read more

My semester in London, even with its ups and downs, was my best semester ever. London was such an amazing city. I ended up staying for 10 extra days after my program ended. Even though I was there for over 3 months, I never ran out of things to do and did even get to do everything I wanted to experience.
CAPA placed us in a nice, centrally located area (although the housing situation was a bit cramped, to be expected in the UK). Because of the ... Read more

I had a great experience with the CAPA London program. We lived in a great neighborhood 10 minutes away from our classes and close to major London attractions. The classes were less challenging than those at my school, but that gave us time to explore.
