Cultural Activities and Field Trips Students take part in a four-day trip to the city of Barcelona where they participate in a workshop conducted by the directors of a leading communication studio that currently manages several postgraduate courses at Elisava, the prestigious School of Communication and Design at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. The aim of this visit and workshop is for students to know and to describe, through one active and practical example of interaction within new scenery, the city of Barcelona. The most basic and raw principles of graphic communication is put into practice in this workshop exercise. Since both the core and elective courses of the program cover the areas of written and audio- visual production, this experience is a complementary and refreshing addition to the students' experiences in the different areas of communication.
