The program takes place at the Pantheon Institute, whose windows open to the glorious exterior of the Pantheon. You'll learn both in the classroom and out in the city. You will also travel throughout Italy to compare and contrast various architectural styles. Start getting excited about:
* A timeless, exciting city - Rome is characterized by open-air cafes, quaint outdoor markets, timeless monuments, and the juxtaposition of ancient and modern architecture. Get lost in the streets and find yourself in the vibrant rhythms of the city's timeless beauty.
* The perfect place to study architecture - Whether you choose the Advanced Architecture or Landscape Architecture program, you will quickly realize that Rome is the ideal location to further your understanding and practice of either subject.
* Central location - Semester Architecture Studies in Rome is located near the most revered piazzas (squares) in all of Rome, Piazza Navona and Piazza della Rotunda (Pantheon). Outside the doors of the Institute, you will also find the Trevi Fountain and the Campo dei Fiori.
* Museums, monuments, and concerts galore - There's a never-ending list of museums to visit, monuments to see, and concerts to attend. Spend a semester taking in everything you've read, seen, and dreamed about in history books: the Coliseum, the Roman Forum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Cathedral, and the Pantheon.
* A chance to live the motto "When in Rome, do as the Romans" - We encourage you to immerse yourself in the culture, engage in the day-to-day life of a Roman, and do as much as possible to truly get a taste of the Roman way of life.
* Extracurricular activities, student excursions, and social events - Semester Architecture Studies in Rome offers plenty of opportunities for more exposure to Italian life and culture. Activities include movie nights, cooking classes, gelato nights, theater nights, soccer matches, and wine tastings. Less

I feel that the program did the bare minimum for housing the students and overpaid the mediocre professors. Read more
