Everyone has certain expectations when they travel and study abroad, but nothing can ever compare to the true experience. I had the best roommates, took inspiring classes, ate amazing food, saw world famous art, and visited the places I've always wanted to see. It's incredible how perfect this semester has been. Florence is the greatest city in the world. The people I met here and the experiences I had were truly unforgettable. I would recommend studying abroad in Florence to anyone. The size is extremely manageable but not too small (I still didn't see everything!) The restaurants are amazing, the views are absolutely gorgeous and the nightlife is fun! This is a perfect place to study abroad and I will remember it all my life. Read more

Being in Florence was incredible- I always knew that I wanted to study abroad in Italy and I'm so happy I did. I made great friends and I really loved the location of my apartment. Honestly the almost all of the courses were what you would expect from study abroad- not rigorous but fun and informative. Everyone on the CIS Italy team was amazing! They really helped make our program the best it could be every step of the way--from preparing us for our trip to extra trips and programs during the semester to helping us wrap up and head back home.
