You will live and learn with students from many countries in a lively and friendly atmosphere. You will get to:
* Choose how long and how many credits - To really get to know London, stay for 6 weeks and earn 8 credits. But if you have a busy summer ahead, opt for just 3 weeks and earn 4 credits.
* Learn about international business where business gets done - Classes range from marketing to corporate social responsibility, so take advantage of the many choices available.
* Take media and design classes - Past students recommend Television Production; Radio Production; Photographing London; Journalism: Writing, Reporting, and Production; and London Fashion. There are tons of exciting options!
* Study the history and politics of London both in and out of the classroom - You can learn about your host country through classes in historical and contemporary London culture, history, economics, literature, and politics, and then see all the sites you read about in your textbooks in person.
* Take advantage of a perfect location - Your classes will be in the center of London, so you can really experience -and fall in love with- this energetic city. Plus, cheap flights and trains provide easy access to the rest of the UK and Europe on the weekends! Less
Getting started in the program was a little difficult. CIS somehow got the wrong contact information and I had received no information until May.
The pick up from the airport was great, very convenient.
I wish I could have stayed in a different area.
The class was really easy, so that was nice because you had plenty of time to go out and do the things you wanted instead of focusing on school.

My experience in London was truly amazing. CISAbroad provided assistance when needed and nurtured individual experiences. I was able to explore London on my terms, something I enjoyed greatly. Read more
I had the most wonderful time and I will remember this experience forever.
The CISabroad team was very helpful in the weeks leading up to my departure and very accommodating and understanding. Though when talking with other students here I learned that their cost for the exact same program was a less than mine and I found that odd, otherwise I have nothing bad to say. I am entirely happy and wish I could do this again and again. Read more
I think that this program was amazing overall. I learned so much about London and got time to explore the beauty that it had to offer. It was great because I got to feel independent. The academics were so interesting and I loved going to class every day. The only thing that upset me was that there were many nights when other students would come home around 3 am and be very noisy in the hallways for long periods of time. Other than that, it was a ... This was a great experience and I am definitely looking forward to coming back. If you want to be independent this is the program for you. If you need a little more help navigating through the city and classes I would choose a different program. But the school is great and the trips they planned were pretty cool. Read more

I thought overall the experience was good. The place we stayed was situated in the center of London so you could get anywhere very easily, so I got to see a lot of what London had to offer. The only problem with the accommodation was that it was located by a hospital and a police station so there were sirens all night long. The class I took was television in London which was awesome. The teachers knew so much about television it was neat getting ... Read more
I loved this program. I felt that there was a class for everyone. Since we met someone at the airport, we were able to immediately meet people when we arrived in London. The person we met, Heidi, helped us with the travel card as well so it was nice that we didn't have to figure out that. The one downside to the program is that CIS does not plan anything. Most of the people on other programs had some tour set up by their program which would have ... Read more

I had a lot of fun in this program, but I'm not sure how much of that was the University's program versus just being in London. I did like the class I took and really enjoyed the social program, though. Read more
