An amazing cultural learning experience along with academics.
I think that this program was amazing overall. I learned so much about London and got time to explore the beauty that it had to offer. It was great because I got to feel independent. The academics were so interesting and I loved going to class every day. The only thing that upset me was that there were many nights when other students would come home around 3 am and be very noisy in the hallways for long periods of time. Other than that, it was a great experience. I loved it.

Lots of loud noises at 3 am waking me up from other students. They got together and talked and yelled in the hallway for 30 minutes or more every night. Very disruptive and disappointing.

CISabroad - Summer at the University of Westminster Decent Program

I had a lot of fun in this program, but I'm not sure how much of that was the University's program versus just being in London. I did like the class I took and really enjoyed the social program, though.

CISabroad - Summer at the University of Westminster Nice Step into World Traveling
Reviewed by Alexa Stracke on .
I loved this program. I felt that there was a class for everyone. Since we met someone at the airport, we were able to immediately meet people when we arrived in London. The person we met, Heidi, helped us with the travel card as well so it was nice that we didn't have to figure out that. The one downside to the program is that CIS does not plan anything. Most of the people on other programs had some tour set up by their program which would have been nice. However, CIS is really good with telling you everything you need to know.

CISabroad - Summer at the University of Westminster Good experience

I thought overall the experience was good. The place we stayed was situated in the center of London so you could get anywhere very easily, so I got to see a lot of what London had to offer. The only problem with the accommodation was that it was located by a hospital and a police station so there were sirens all night long. The class I took was television in London which was awesome. The teachers knew so much about television it was neat getting to learn from them. The only problem with that class was that you had to travel an hour from the place we stayed to where this class was held. Most classes are held in the center of london except a few. This was my first time to London and I felt that I was able to adapt to living in London fairly easily. This trip is a nice way to test the waters for traveling abroad alone since I was only there for three weeks and they speak English in London. I really liked how the school had this social program for the students to participate in which gave me an opportunity to get to places in the united kingdom I would not have gone too, like whales. It was nice because it was all planned out ahead of time. I would definitely recommend studying abroad in London. It was a great experience.

CISabroad - Summer at the University of Westminster London A Great City

This was a great experience and I am definitely looking forward to coming back. If you want to be independent this is the program for you. If you need a little more help navigating through the city and classes I would choose a different program. But the school is great and the trips they planned were pretty cool.

I had the most wonderful time and I will remember this experience forever.
The CISabroad team was very helpful in the weeks leading up to my departure and very accommodating and understanding. Though when talking with other students here I learned that their cost for the exact same program was a less than mine and I found that odd, otherwise I have nothing bad to say. I am entirely happy and wish I could do this again and again. -

CISabroad - Summer at the University of Westminster Overall, good experience

Getting started in the program was a little difficult. CIS somehow got the wrong contact information and I had received no information until May.
The pick up from the airport was great, very convenient.
I wish I could have stayed in a different area.
The class was really easy, so that was nice because you had plenty of time to go out and do the things you wanted instead of focusing on school.
