On The Grand Tour: Art in Europe, you'll earn up to 15 credits in art history, studio art, photography, French, and Italian while exploring the stunning architecture of Florence (where even the gelato is an art form), the magnificent streets of Paris, and the plethora of museums in London. You'll have a chance to:
* Earn a semester's worth of credits over the summer - While traveling through some of the most amazing cities on the planet, why not earn 15 credits in your major or in electives?
* Study in the heart of the Renaissance, the City of Light, and the home of Big Ben - It's the opportunity of a lifetime: study and live in Florence, Paris, and London, centers of European art and high culture. Check out the best architecture, food, and cultural sites in the world this summer!
* Discover your inner artist in Europe - With courses like Art in Plein Air; Photography: Shooting Like the Masters; and Art History: From the Impressionists to Today; you can really learn about famous artists and then learn how to become one yourself!
* Live with fellow students in great local apartments - Live in the heart of it all in cool, furnished apartments and get to know other students from all over the US who are on your program.
* Make spectacular cities your classroom - A great part of studying abroad is learning both inside and outside the classroom, and with this program, it's the entire point! You won't just read about a painting in class; you'll go see it in person to really understand the artist's perspective. Less
The Cis Grand Tour: Art in Europe is the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in expanding their artistic horizons and enhancing their artistic skills over the course of an unforgettable summer. Free time spent sketching in the piazzas of Florence or ... Read more
The programme in the end was a major success but there seemed to be a haze of disorganization covering the entire trip which was quite disheartening while traveling to new places with people you don't know. The academic side was excellent and I feel like I learned a lot about Art and Art History (ultimately the reason I chose this programme). I think in a few years this course will be seamless but as of now it is still a little rough around the e... Read more

CIS isn't running everything-they go through about seven other organizations, so each individual and organization handles something different but no one every REALLY knows exactly what's going on. I had to call the main administrator before the program to ask all of my thirty of so questions that they failed to answer on their own and the... Read more
