Though I was just dropped off in Italy without any knowledge of the country or help getting any where except my apartment, my month there was truly spectacular. The only thing I would change is the amount of classes I took. Other than that there is not a thing I would change about my experience. I wish I could go back to Rome everyday. The program coordinators were always there to help with every step of the process since it is a long one but it is worth it when you know that just in a couple of weeks or so you will be traveling to another country. The school that I was in, was overall great, the staff was super nice and very helpful. I had such a great experience in Rome and CIS made it that much better. Studying in Rome was definitely a different experience. The program is slightly unorganized and doesn't quite prepare you for what you're about to encounter. Our advisor did not even contact us about arriving in Italy until a good 10 days after arrival, so we had to find out most things on our own. I loved the city and the country, but I could've done without going through the program. Read more
