Though I was just dropped off in Italy without any knowledge of the country or help getting any where except my apartment, my month there was truly spectacular. The only thing I would change is the amount of classes I took. Other than that there is not a thing I would change about my experience. I wish I could go back to Rome everyday. Living in a local neighborhood was probably my favorite part about the program. If you plan on traveling else wh... Read more
The program coordinators were always there to help with every step of the process since it is a long one but it is worth it when you know that just in a couple of weeks or so you will be traveling to another country. The school that I was in, was overall great, the staff was super nice and very helpful. I had such a great experience in Rome and CIS made it that much better. They helped me feel at home and the people that I attended school with we... Read more
Studying in Rome was definitely a different experience. The program is slightly unorganized and doesn't quite prepare you for what you're about to encounter. Our advisor did not even contact us about arriving in Italy until a good 10 days after arrival, so we had to find out most things on our own. I loved the city and the country, but I could've done without going through the program. Read more
