best experience of my life

LLN was a great study abroad experience. It's connection to clemson allows for extremely easy credit transfer, and Philippe/Kelly do a fantastic job of putting everything together. The town itself is nice in a smaller way, but it is a short train ride to bxl, and from there the rest of Europe. The only qualm I had was the teaching style (personally wasn't a fan), which seemed to be less structured, more middle/elementary school methods...games, practice conversations, memorizing a "broadcast", etc. Still, easy to do well and I learned loads of french in my time there (more from locals than classes imo)...seriously best study abroad option I could have possibly done!!

LLN is a very unique place. You will learn so much about Belgium as a whole; you aren't far from Brussels, or really any major city, and the student discounts make it worth it to visit them all, but you will love LLN.
The cercles are amazing to see, the week of the blues, their casquettes and calottes and you're not allowed to leave until you know all the words to the song by edouard priem.
Everything here is perfect. Waffles, beer, frites, chocolate. Just go. Go. Do it.
