Spain is a photogenic country with a rich history. I have stunning pictures from this trip. We spent half the program traveling: to Toledo, Sevilla, Granada …, and then half the program living in Cadiz. I guess we spoke some Spanish, but I remember speaking a lot of English. The academic quality, the beach, and party atmosphere are all the bomb. They speak a broken spanish and eat half their words but if you can integrate yourself in the culture and try meeting the locals you'll pick it up. Also, I do agree that it's hit or miss with the living situation but they are also a great source for learning the language. Very well-run program! The first week of traveling around Spain is priceless. Cadiz is a town on the beach. The beach is a great place to do homework and hangout during the afternoon. There is a good amount of things to get into at night...botellon! Read more
