It wasn't a great program - it was a pretty disorganized program - the staff was always changing and activities weren't really planned by them. Academics were poor at the center. The majority of stuff we ended up doing we had to plan ourselves. And when we did go on excursions they were all really badly planned.

Child was terrified and placed in a dorm where no English speakers were immediately available in emergency. Cheap and scary housing, minimal class time scheduled. Much better deal would be to spend $60 a night on a three star Prague hotel and teach yourself. AVOID CEA AT ALL COSTS!!!

ISA is so student oriented. Any questions or problem I had was dealt with quickly and their main concern was that I had the best experience possible. Prague is magical and ISA made it unforgettable.

I loved studying abroad and I believe that every college student should go somewhere different and new for at least a semester. My four months in the Czech Republic were some of the best times ever and I accredit ISA and ISA staff for enriching my experience abroad!

Lack of Integrity by FUA Professors

To my dismay, my winemaking professor stole her entire course reader and lecture notes from none other than Wikipedia! If you typed "malolactic fermentation" into Wikipedia, the exact same words were found on Camilla Carrega's lecture notes. Was no textbook for this class; her notes were what was to be studies.

I brought this to the attention of the Dr. Soave, their Academic Dean, as well as the administrator in charge of Academics at ISA in Austin, Texas. I was perturbed to hear that neither of them thought that any action is necessary, despite the severity of this situation. Does this mean that a student can cheat on every test, every paper, and not face any repercussions? The teacher, Camilla Carrega, is still a Professor at FUA.

Besides this incredible lack of academic integrity at FUA, the other professors were mediocre at best. To me, this proves that both ISA and FUA in Florence are two for-profit institutions taking advantage of study abroad students who have no way of visiting their abroad "home" university and who choose to rely on the judgment of ISA. I implore you to look elsewhere for your study abroad experiences; my hard-earned money was thrown away on a plagiarized education.

Should of gone through CIEE

This was my first study abroad program and I have to say it took a turn for the worst. While I was in the states, ISA was very helpful, especially the program coordinator. My main goal was to focus on Arabic and it slightly improved throughout the course of my stay. I was always hoping to be out in the city of Amman to try and practice with locals, but due to the course loads, this was virtually impossible but tolerable. What really disturbed me in Jordan was the "fishing for information" that went on and reported back to ISA, I would think that this would violate certain "unethical" practices. I would only recommend this program to those that have never worked for the civil service or the military.

Don't choose ISA!!!!

Horrible! ISA is a terrible program! They are money-stealing crooks who constantly find new ways to cheat you out of your money. One of the program coordinators in Buenos Aires actually told me that they don't expect poor students to study abroad and you shouldn't unless your parents have money. They are incredibly disorganized and the excursions are terrible. This entire program is a waste of your money. I spent the entire time wishing I had chosen one of the other programs that took legit excursions and was way cheaper. ISA's host families are notoriously horrible and ISA doesn't care. To ISA you are nothing more than a walking dollar sign that they have to find a host family for, so they just really don't care about the quality.
The classes they offer in the university are a joke and they don't count for credit at anyone's home university. The classes were totally different than ISA said they would offer and they are honestly just a waste of time. There is not much opportunity for cultural immersion because your classes are only with other American students.
Don't waste all your money by choosing ISA. I promise you will regret it!

Mente Argentina Review - Semester Program

My semester in Buenos Aires with MENTE ARGENTINA was one of the best of my LIFE! The people couldn't have been cooler. I got matched with 2 really cool girls and 1 boy and we all still talk on a weekly basis -- did I mention that we were roommates 1 year ago? Well, these people are still some of my best friends. Buenos Aires is really unique! The staff was really helpful and the excursions & activities they planned were great (they were included in the program price!!).

After meeting other students from other programs in Argentina, it appears we had far superior housing locations and group activities. The housing was in the nicest neighborhood in Buenos Aires: Palermo. We also have a coordinator available 24/7 for anything we might have had problems or concerns with. The price paid for the program was significantly less expensive than other programs I had researched. I HIGHLY recommend Mente!

Style Design College in Italy

I was blown away with the programs on offer at Styel Design College in Milan, Italy. The lecturers are friendly and all of them taught us in English. The College is part of a network of other Campuses so we regularly interacted with students from around the world. The Dean and administration staff were helpful and arranged my accommodation in a small apartment near to Campus. I would recommend students do the Diploma courses as there is so much more content and by the time you finish you feel like you're ready to get started in industry.

Loved it! Best time of my life!

Style Design College Milan

I loved my time at SDC Milan. The college is extremely exclusive meaning there are only about 7 students to a teacher. I enjoyed the on Campus facilities such as the free, unlimited internet usage so I could Skype my folks every week. The course content was also top notch and I really learnt allot.

Key to get started

China is a wonderful place and so is its language and the culture. I keep moving to different countries for business and Research. I always look for such training sessions where I can have a good grip over the native language and culture. This is the type of training program I look for when I enter a new place. To get an insight into the Culture and to know the new place well with all aspects, it is very important that an expert team and a well designed program is followed. You also get to know details that help you in your business. I also got to know about the market I will have to focus for my business and the related details to start off. I got familiar with the history of everything in the city and the procedures to do the business in this culture. The basic thing was the language that I learned and I never had any problem in conveying my messages to others and I did not have to take anybody’s help.
