Spend your time tutoring English to the local workers, mainly Bedouins, for less than 15 hours each week. You can tutor staff and guides at the lodge to help improve their conversational English skills. The rest of the time you can enjoy treks through canyons and water falls, or archeological copper mine treks. You don't want to miss Petra and the Dead Sea.
This is a great program for people who want a unique experience that includes no electricity (everything is powered on Solar). The project site is approximately 3 1/2 hours from Amman and an hour + from Petra and the Dead Sea. Plus you have two excursions included that go off site of the Ecolodge. Spend a day in Petra (included). Go hiking through scenic routes in the Ghor region of Jordan. While there, mingle with and learn from the locals (included). And all treks that are available on site are available to participants also. Less
