London as a city has a lot to offer - true that. LSE within Europe has a pretty good reputation, so I decided to pursue a summer law course there. But I was so disappointed, overall. First, London is not a safe city. Beware. I lived in Islington at an LSE Hall (Middleton), and got mugged very stupidly right in front of the Hall. Not because I was obnoxious or loud but because I got followed by some guy who then yanked my entire purse from my hand... Read more

I went to this program a few years ago and had a great experience. The classes run most of the day, and generally center around a project. Working in a group with people from many different countries was a little tough at times, but I feel that I benefited from the trip. Also, LSE gives you a lot of freedom. The program runs well for a study abroad experience at a university. There was a good orientation events and tours. There was a lot of free time to explore the city; it was generally very independent and hands-off. Library was great, some facilities like computers were limited. Oration was great. Read more
