Our methods are creative and innovative, and our scope of teaching encompasses many aspects of the language - from basic survival Mandarin to more advanced Chinese concepts to cultural classes in art and martial arts. All are geared towards encouraging students to really 'Live the Language!'
Standard 1-on-1 Class: 20hr/wk individual Chinese class
Intensive 1-on-1 Class: 30hr/wk individual Chinese class
Standard 1-on-1 & Culture Class: 20hr/wk individual Chinese class and 10hr/wk of Culture Classes Less
It was my first trip to China and LTL and I will study there again. The classes are well taught, the team very supportive, the teachers professional, and the accommodation arrangements excellent.
I could not recommend studying at LTL more. Read more
I spent a lot of time reviewing different schools, comparing prices etc. and decided in the end to study with LTL mainly because they were very quick and helpful with replying to questions and their programs sounded very interesting.
I didn't study anywhere else so I cannot compare, but my course here was great and most importantly they did deliver on what they had promised.

Before studying at ltl, I did an internship in Shanghai, so I wasnt completely unfamiliar with China. It was a fun time there, but all my friends were foreigners and in the end the only language I really spoke was English. I found it very easy to make international friends, but very difficult to "break into" the Chinese world. Foreigners and Chinese live in the same city, but usually there was very little contact outside work.
