It was overall great, I would have preferred to rent an apartment though. My problem was that my housing was in the middle of nowhere. I wish we had had the option to rent an apartment in the city. Academics weren't that great but that's not the programs fault, just the fault of Russia.

It was a good experience; there were lots of opportunities for cultural immersion and learning. I met good people and had an adventure - adventure factor was definitely the biggest plus. Not convetionally "fun", but well worth it.

Some of the teachers were not that helpful with helping us learn Russian. The students were nice but the program seems more appropriate for a summer program rather than a study abroad since all classes were only with Americans and only one with Russians makes making Russian friends hard. We were isolated.
