A review on Study Abroad in Oxford

Amazing lecturers in-midst a picture-book town.
So far I loved every minute of my stay here. Oxford is the most gorgeous town and busses to London leave basically at my doorstep.
Academically speaking, it is a great experience. In my home university everything stays quite theoretical and modules are split up. Here, the whole publishing media workflow, for example, is made up of one course, including finance, business administration as well as design and lay-outing.
This makes it far easier to get an insight into what working in publishing would be like. The teaching staff also is excellent with an impressive background in publishing (web-editor of Harper's Bazaar, editor of Macmillan,...)
Making friends with fellow international students was easy, not so with my English class-mates. They are perfectly friendly but trying to fit in a group that has known each other for a while is always difficult.
Living arrangements are good. 5 min off campus, provided by the university, but way more expensive than what I'm used to.

Food
I've lived in the UK before, and knew that there are some differences, friends of mine took a few weeks to get used to it. But I mostly cook from scratch so I never really found anything to complain about. But usually it's a bit mire expensive.
