We have been able to send our son on 3 trips. He has been to Canada, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and France. He always "loves" different things during the trip, and hates to leave each country. He has also enjoyed each of his home stays. I don't know how his wonderful leaders got me to entrust "strangers" with my son, but they did. He has loved the home stays and I can see the cultural enrich... Read more

I always said I would make it to China one and through People to People I was able to do it!!! In the summer of 2012 I was able to travel to China with People to People and the experience was unforgettable. Actually being able to see how silk fabric is made, seeing the Terra Cotta Army and hearing the story their discovery first hand by one of the men who found the, was incredible! Walking two miles of the Great Wall and walking through the Forbi... Read more

As a 6th grader sitting in an auditorium, you really don't get the feel for what's going on but as I continue throughout high school I can guarantee this is the opportunity of a lifetime. I have seen so many things I didn't think I was capable of ever seeing, to be honest. I feel as if my view of the world has changed from just the US and other countries that other people inhibit, to the US and other countries and beautiful lands I want to explor... Read more
I had the time of my life on my P2P program! I can't stop talking about it! I remember something new everyday and relive it in my mind! I cannot wait until my next trip in 2014! I will be visiting a couple of the same places but I don't mind, you can never get too much Paris!!! Read more
I am a three time alumnus of this fantastic program. I have traveled to Europe twice, once as a 6th grader and again as an 8th grader. Both times were different, exciting and enriching. This past summer I had the opportunity to travel to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. It was out of this world! (well at least out of this hemisphere) Each trip was unique and absolutely life changing. The leaders were considerate and knowledgeable. The accommodati... Read more
I had the best time during this trip. I got to meet new people and get to see new countries. When asked if I ever went out of country, I can say I have been to six countries in Europe! How long was I there? 3 weeks! It wet my appetite for me to see more! I really wish it was summer 2008 again. Read more
I began with P2P at 14 years old, my first trip was to the land down under and I could never imagine going there any other way. After that I did four more trips with the group and if that does't tell you enough I must say it is amazing and rewarding. I was a spoiled brat before I went and this trips helped me grow as a person, learn about culture and how to share a space with others. I have created many friendships for a life time and now that I ... Read more
I was 10 years old when I went to England and Scotland with People to People. I had the most amazing time and I met people I still keep in touch with. This program is amazing. It gives middle and high school students an unbelievable opportunity to experience and understand other cultures. It also teaches them compassion and acceptance of people from other backgrounds. Their main gaol is to create a single, global community, and they have brought this very close to occurring. Read more

I have gone on 2 trips and each time I have noticed growth in myself. I have transformed from a shy and introverted person, to a outgoing and extroverted person. I went to Italy and Greece when I was 12 in 2008. And then to the United Kingdom and Ireland when I was 16 in the summer of 2012. There is nothing I could have done that would have been better. I went on a People to People Trip the summer before my freshman year. I was a bit nervous, as it was my first time away from home. I was thoroughly impressed by the activities we did, which included cultural immersion, community service, and general fun. People to People has changed my life, and I made many friends that I am still in contact with today, over 3 years later. Read more

Loved the extras we got to do and the home stay in Ireland was AMAZING. A little overly controlled and didn't get a ton of the time but did get some visited castles, schools, museums, historical spots. Lived in small hostels, hotels, homes and on a bus. Ferry and bus rides were long but fun people to be with. Read more
I went to England, France, and Italy in the summer of 2012. It opened up my eyes to what else is out there in the world, how I can better relate myself to them, and to see how fortunate I am by living in America. My favorite country was by far Italy and my favorite experience was my home stay. I stayed with a family that spoke only a little english but enough to get through. To this day I have conversations with them quiet often. I loved learning... Read more
