The main task of the “Gesellschaft der Freunde und Förderer der RWTH Aachen e.V.,” the Association of supporters and sponsors of the RWTH Aachen University, is to support the university in its pursuit of its academic goals in research and education and to strengthen its place in the international academic market. This goal is accomplished by supporting and promoting of scientific projects, awarding outstanding graduates, and networking. The foundation of the International Academy together with the RWTH Aachen University is therefore an important element in the support and promotion of scientific projects as well as in networking. By offering Graduate programs, including Master’s Degree programs for foreign students, the RWTH International Academy makes a substantial contribution to the strengthening and recognition of the elite academic education of the RWTH Aachen University.
