SIE was founded in 2009 by the management team that brought you the successful and widely acclaimed 2010 East China Normal University International Summer School program (2010 ECNU ISS). The 2010 ECNU ISS program attracted 234 students from 10 countries and regions around the world, making it the first and largest international summer school program in China eligible for U.S. university level academic credit-transfer.

The SIE team understands through personal backgrounds the American undergraduate education experience.
