The program integrates thoughtful synthesis of homestays/life in the residencias, study visits, language exchanges, volunteer, and other cultural opportunities into the curriculum, so that you may more fully integrate into the sevilllano culture.
The goal of the Spanish Studies Program is to guide you to live as a member of sevillano culture, while gaining a profound understanding of your surroundings. Experienced Spanish Studies professors design their courses, no matter the discipline, to advance critical thinking and mature correct expression of the Spanish language. Qualified students have the option of enrolling in our Integrated Studies Program at Universidad de Sevilla Program. Less

Very well-organized program. Very few people in Tuscania speak English, so Tuscania is a great place to practice & improve your Italian. The director of the program is very nice and helpful in not only getting to know the small town but also in making travel preparations (if you want to travel over the weekend). Read more
CCCS is a good program to get into Sevilla. Cost-wise, it's not as expensive as other ones I have looked at. You take classes right in the center of town and it's close to a lot of things. They have a lot of optional planned excursions (either weekend or in the evenings) but they can tend to be overly scripted/structured. The classes I took were foundations of Spanish Culture, Stand-Up Paddle Surf, 20th century Spanish Theater, and a Sevillan... Read more
Since I just spent a lot of time commenting on the various sections of the review, I will keep this brief and to the point. Going to Sevilla, Spain changed my life. It taught me that this world is both bigger and smaller than I thought it would be, that people are people no matter where you go, that God is God of the whole world, that Spanish is an incredibly beautiful language, and that home can be more than one place. I am so thankful for CC-CS... Read more
My senora was a phenominal chef! She would make a HUGE dish of chicken or seafood paella with fresh grilled vegetables and a variety of fresh fruit. Then, we would have a traditional spanish salad with oil and vinegar. But the BEST part was dessert. She would either make a some kind of pastry, cake, or pie. My personal favorite was her strawberry crepes with fudge filling. I felt like I was living with his royal majesty Juan Carlos of Spain! haha... Read more

The city was beautiful, the professors and administrators were extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help, I felt like this program really understood the needs their students had whether they were part of academics, living situations, or just adjusting to living in a foreign country. They were always there to help. I would and have recommended this program to other students. Read more

Overall, I really enjoyed my semester in Seville with CC-CS. The courses that I took were interesting and I liked the variety of activities and trips that were planned by the staff. I would (and have) recommended the program to friends. In fact, I wanted to do a second semester with CC-CS in Argentina, but had certain courses I needed to take at my school to graduate on time.
