It was quite an experience

I learned so many things, met so many people and ate so much wonderful food - I'm sure the memories of this experience will stay with me forever, and I'll cherish it.

    All of the culture class meetings were informative and fascinating, and the language class was quite helpful.

    Cultural Immersion

    All of my roommates were American, so I suppose I could have immersed myself in the culture more than I did. There was no shortage of opportunities to do so, in any case.

    Safety

    I was never ill-at-ease in Petersburg. The streets are relatively clean and there are no shady characters hanging about on street corners.

    There was no shortage of opportunities to go out and have fun with others.

    Walk to the end of the metro platform - the cars are less crowded there!
