We studied Scots disability law and Scots Criminal Law along along with American law. We only had class with the students who went on the program. It was not designed as an immersion program. The University of Aberdeen organized many events for us, but we had a lot of free time to explore and go on weekend trips. We had class 4 days a week for approximately 3 hours a day. The rest was our time. On the weekends, I went to Edinburgh, Dublin, Isle of Skye, and Lochness. Others went to Spain and France. The people were awesome and I got to meet a lot of other law students from other schools. We had students from UB, Maryland Law, students from New York, California and Minnesota. While we had to make our own opportunities to meet the locals, we did make a lot of new friends with other law students. Less
It was awesome. The people were exceptionally friendly and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed on campus in dorms, but did not have to share with other students. They were typical dorm rooms and our program occupied most of the building while we were there.
