We are proud to offer a program that has received an excellent evaluation by the Dutch accreditation authority (NVAO). Our program comprises more than 120 courses in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Sciences. The open curriculum gives students great freedom to decide which academic fields they would like to explore. But freedom comes with responsibilities. We expect students to invest in their future, to take an interest in other students’ cultures and backgrounds, and to be active members of our academic community.
Currently, UCM is home to students from more than 50 nationalities. Next to the program, students and staff organize excursions, lectures, conferences, charity events, open mic nights, and so on.
We believe we have created an environment that is intellectually and socially stimulating. Many of our students experience UCM as their second home. I encourage prospective students to visit an Open Day or an Experience Day at UCM. Experiencing UCM is the best way to get to know us. Less

I got to take a course in medieval studies in a medieval city, which was a really neat experience. I got sick while I was over there, and so i didn't get to travel as much as i would have liked. the... Read more
