The itinerary follows the tradition of the Grand Tour of the XIX century, when northern Europeans traveled to Italy and Greece to learn about the cultures of antiquity. Class instruction is given on site, focusing on the cities, their architecture and history. The first part of the course (3 cr.) travels to Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome and Madrid; the second part (3 cr.) to Madrid, Athens and the Greek Islands. Less
