I went to Nagasaki completely lacking of any Japanese language skills, but that didn't harbor my experience. The friends I made, my host family, and the supportive staff of NUFS aided me to the best of their abilities. The city is wonderful, not to big, but enough of a mix of students and different cultures. The program is continually improving, and the staff constantly appreciates feedback and comments.
