Classes are held at one of the most prestigious institutes in Italy - the Scuola di Amministrazione Aziendale (SAA) of the University of Torino. Although the University of Torino was founded in 1407, our classes are held in a modern building along the Po River, with everything from CNN to internet access. The combination of American and Italian professors provides a valuable dual perspective on Italy, its culture, and on the European and international business community. Combining academic coursework with practical learning, tours, site visits and an integrated cultural experience, this program has it all. Students will visit sites of artistic and historic interest, as well as some of the multi-national firms headquartered in the area. Guest speakers from cultural centers and businesses are an integral part of the program. In addition, you will have the opportunity to interact with students from all over the world.
The summer Torino program offers two, five-week sessions. Each includes an optional four-day visit of central Italy offered between sessions. You may participate in one or both of the sessions. This program is ideal for those unable to participate in semester or yearlong programs. Torino provides students with an exciting, cosmopolitan setting from which to gain a working knowledge of the Italian language and to experience its rich culture away from tourist areas. Less

USAC Torino is a great, organized, friendly program, pretty big group (60) many Americans but also many students from around Europe, Mexico, Australia, etc.... good professors and classes. Take it seriously -- they count absences -- but you learn a lot and staff is very helpful and always available for you. Best experience of my life so far. Good job, USAC! Keep it up. Read more
I wouldn't recommend this program to most. The USAC team is not very helpful, and more concerned with making you attend classes then enriching your study abroad experience. Also, they stuck us the students in random spots all over the city with varying living conditions. For example, my apartment had mold, a crappy bathroom, and no living area while another group of students stayed in an apartment where each person had their own nice room and fre... Read more
