This two-week Business Seminar with an optional excursion to Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef, will be held "Down-Under" in beautiful Australia. The seminar will have a strong business focus, emphasized through tours of companies in Sydney and Melbourne, including a wine tour in the Melbourne region and a tour of the Carleton United Beverage in Melbourne. Students will also participate in a case competition with students from Macquarie University in Sydney. Students will have time to explore both Sydney and Melbourne, and an Australian Rules Football game is on the schedule. Students will also learn leadership skills in small group excursion activities. Students will have an opportunity to extend their stay with an optional excursion to Cairns (not part of the academic program). Cairns is where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef. In the Cairns excursion, students will have the opportunity to become scuba certified, dive the Barrier Reef and also experience a whitewater rafting trip. Less
